Vice President’s Message

Welcome to the Fraternal Order of Police, Berks Lodge #71 Associate Member section. By becoming an Associate Member, you will help us continue in our efforts to benefit the active and retired police officers from your communities. If you are interested in supporting the Police Officers of Berks County and becoming an Associate Member with the Berks County Fraternal Order of Police, you must be of good moral character and have NO criminal arrests.

An application form shall be completed, and a $20.00 application fee is required at the time of application submission. The $20.00 fee will cover the current year’s dues, and new members shall receive an associate member emblem along with a membership card. Each year thereafter, the dues are $15.00 annually.

Associate members shall not be entitled to voice or vote or to participate in or attend any ritual work or to attend any meeting of the Lodge. Membership is subject to lodge vote. Membership with the lodge permits attendance to the yearly lodge picnic, golf tournament, Policeman’s Ball, Police Memorial and the ability to purchase restricted Associate Member merchandise.

Applications for associate membership can be downloaded, or they can be obtained from and returned to any active member of the lodge.
